An Amazing Time At Amazing Jakes with Amazing Friends!

We went to Amazing Jakes as a last summer hoorah before school starts. We had a great time!

My (amazing) Jake wasn't feeling the best so I did not have a marathon day like my friends did! Jake loved the train most! He ran around for hours and then was OUT! After carrying him around asleep for about an hour I called it quits. I am so mad at myself for forgetting my stroller, but by that point I was ready to call it a day!

Zachary was loving the mini golf...I think he must have played about ten rounds! I kept losing Zach there, but I wasn't too worried ever as we knew about 40 people there. It seemed like someone who knew him always had an eye out for him. Most of the time when I couldn't find Zach I would look at the Mini Golf place and viola...there he was with a green ball in hand! One time I found him by the food "I just needed to get a diet coke, Mom". Wonder where he gets that from? :)

Olivia got to stay longer than the boys. Thanks for letting Olivia hang with you, Jenny! I understand she made a new friend there! I love that about Olivia. She can make friends with anyone! Her new friend even paid her way bowling! Friends with money are always good to have!

Diamondbacks Game

Zach got to go to the Diamondbacks game with one of his best buddies Sammy! Zane got free tickets from work and Olivia, Zane, Zach, Jim and Sammy went. Thanks for going Jim and Sammy. The thought of chasing Jake around there was totally unappealing to me!
B.T.W. Olivia was the photographer. These were the best she came up with (out of the 200 pictures she shot!)

Happy 5th Little Buddy!

Zachary FINALLY got the Nintendo DS he has wanted forever. He can no longer tell me he is the ONLY one who doesn't have one!

We did a little family celebration on Zach's birthday. His friends party is Saturday. Wish me luck. 10 kids, PPP, need I say more?

I love you, Zachary! You make my life so stinkin' fun!

Love Is Sweet!

I was busy this week helping my friend Kelly get ready for her daughters wedding. My Mom requested pictures of how it turned out, so here ya go....Thanks Jamie G. for the Love is Sweet sign! It turned out great!
Being Silly...wishing I powdered my forehead once I saw pictures of myself.

The people who did the ceiling and draping did an amazing job! It looked beautiful!

A pic of the ceiling and basketball hoop. They turned the hoop into a chandelier!

After a few long days we had a few Sonic runs!

Summer Fun With Friends!

A Very Special Week!

I had an absolutly incredible birthday this year! Thanks to facebook my phone was ringing constantly with facebook messages from friends! That was soooo fun to get birthday wishes all day long! Thanks facebook friends!

My kids made me breakfast in bed! Sooo cute! Then all week long my friends brought me treats and surprises to celebrate! I also got treated to lunch with besties twice!

I have the absolute best friends ever!

My family threw me a celebration BBQ that night. It is always fun to get together with my fam!
My mom and the Jamies' both made me gifts that are sooo special to me...my mom made me a scrapbook with family pictures in it. What a treasure to have pictures of ancestors! The Jamies' made me a picture for my bedroom I have been wanting. Yes, they made it. JB handmade the frame for me, JG handmade the picture! I absolutely treasure these gifts!

I have the absolute best family ever!

As I walked into my sisters house that night in her entry way she has a cute sign that says:

"Many people will walk in and out of your life,
but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart."
~Eleanor Roosevelt

This quote has really touched me...You don't always get to pick who chooses to "walk out of your life"...but so thankful for the friends that have walked into my life and left footprints this year!

Pioneer Day!

We celebrated Pioneer day with a cute little parade through Litchfield Park. I felt like a pioneer! It was 114 degrees and I felt like dying! There was a fun carnival set up after the parade, but it was too stinkin' hot for me to enjoy! I told my kiddos I would treat them to Chick-fil-a if we could go home. After being in the direct heat for a couple of hours in the HOT part of the day, I went home sick!
This experience made me thankful I am NOT a pioneer...and have a new appreciation for them as they walked across the United States. I couldn't handle two hours worth of the Trek...even with a Sonic drink in my hand rather than a handcart!
Olivia and her cute friend Brenna worked for hours decorating their bikes for the parade!
They are sooo darling!
