We celebrated Pioneer day with a cute little parade through Litchfield Park. I felt like a pioneer! It was 114 degrees and I felt like dying! There was a fun carnival set up after the parade, but it was too stinkin' hot for me to enjoy! I told my kiddos I would treat them to Chick-fil-a if we could go home. After being in the direct heat for a couple of hours in the HOT part of the day, I went home sick! This experience made me thankful I am NOT a pioneer...and have a new appreciation for them as they walked across the United States. I couldn't handle two hours worth of the Trek...even with a Sonic drink in my hand rather than a handcart!
Olivia and her cute friend Brenna worked for hours decorating their bikes for the parade!
They are sooo darling!
