Getting Ready for Achievment Day!

Let me just say I am so psyched about my new calling! I am one of the Achievemeny Day leaders in our ward. Oh, how fun is this going to be! I spent the morning getting ready for Achievment Day. Olivia and I put together this little favor for our PJ'S party. PJ'S stands for PRAYER, JOURNAL, SCRIPTURE STUDY. We are all going to wear our pajamas! Can anyone think of a cute dessert to serve? If I can't come up with a better idea I am going to get donuts or cinnamon rolls or something like that.

Hey Denise,
Congrats on your new calling! Are you still the secretary in primary? I am so out of the loop!
Thanks for checking my blog, I am sorry that I didn't add you sooner I didn't think I had your email and then last night I remembered that we had emailed back and forth a couple of times....so, I am so glad we are now blogging buddies!

I think your cinnamon rolls or donuts are a great treat, sounds like a great party! Crepes would also be fun with yummy fruit on top with whip cream.
love,Brea
P.S. How do you know Elena and Tom are you related? Elena and Tom are in my sisters ward in Saratoga Springs....small world!!

My mom and Elena's Mom are Best Friends. Elena and I grew up together in El Paso, Texas. I was close to Elena and her sisters when I was Olivia's age.

I got fired, I mean released from primary a few weeks ago. (I am kidding!) I have been filling in until they find a replacement for me.

Great idea for the crepes Brea! Do you have a yummy recipe for them? E-mail it to me if you do!

It is a small world! Do you know Elena well? Maybe we can get them to come for a visit!

That is so crazy!! My sister is good friends with Elena they actually had a girls night out tonight and went to the movies together, How weird this is!! I have hung out with her before with my sis..she is super nice. Tom was their Bishop a couple of years ago, and Elena and Cherish (my sis) have been good friends for years. WOW, how about that!

I do have a crepe recipe I will get it to you.

Well, I am off to bed see you at church tomorrow,
Brea

What a cute idea! I may have to copycat it some time. Crepes sound perfect. If you wanted to get messy you could always do chocolate fondu (spell?). Let us know how it turns out.

Small world with us having mutual friends. I've only met Brea a few times, but she's always been warm and easy to be with.
By the way, I wish I knew you better. Anyone who would have George Strait opening her blog has to be fun. Enjoy your day.
