Fall Break in San Deigo

We love the beach! Our annual San Deigo trip this summer was a little on the cold side. So we escaped to San Diego for a few days during fall break! The weather was nicer (in Oct) than it was this summer (in July!). It was a fun little mini vacay on our way to Disneyland!

Zach has had a great season on his basketball team!
Of course it helps that his coach is one on my
besties...Coach Jenny. And his Assistant coach is
Coach Zane.

Zach has really improved his game! He made a bunch
of baskets at his game last Saturday!

A Little Friendly Wager...

My friend Al came up with a brilliant plan to make work

more interesting for the next couple of weeks...the

CVVH Olympics!

Oh yah, I am in!

Al asked me to post peoples stats on my blog,

so they can be viewed for all the world to see.

We are working on the rules...but for now all we came

up with is:

1. Time starts when you turn on machine, filter not snapped on yet.

2. Time ends when first hint of red hits the return port on the dialysis catheter.

There will be some kind of prize...any suggestions?

Olivia's job was the web designer of the mall. She was hard at work all day earning a living!

In the end, my store did not get read as one of the ones
that paid off their loan, which I was surprised about.
According to my calculations we turned a profit...but
we did have a 10 year old doing the bookkeeping.

Zach and Olivia's librarian just so happens to be a friend of mine. So when my kids come home and tell me they did something fun in library...it is no surprise...Mrs. Taylor is very awesome!

Zachary has been singing this song over and over that he learned in library...flip flap jack.
