Fathers And Sons Campout

My Dad invited all the boys in the family to go to his wards Fathers and Sons Campout. Zach was so excited to go camping with T.J., J.B., Poppy and Dad! He had a great time! His first camping trip!

(Zachary, I hope you filled your little mind with good memories...enough to hold out till next fathers and sons! Your mother is not a camper. Think Parent Trap's Vikki. That's me. This one time when we were in Palm Valley ward, our ward had a family campout. I decided to be a good sport and go. When everyone was setting up their tents at our campsite in Sedona I looked up and there was a Raddison! Hallelujah! We quietly snuck off to a hotel room at bedtime! It was the best. We enjoyed great company in the evening and morning, and had a great night sleep next to a campfire {fireplace} in our room! Good memories!)

Preschool Graduation!

We had a great year doing Joy School with some fun Mom's and darling kids! I am so thankful to all of these women for the amazing people that they are! They have taught Zachary so much! We had a great year!

In preschool we did workbooks. We competed almost the whole thing! On our last day of preschool we reviewed the alphabet and the sounds of the letters! I can't believe how much they learned this year! I have to say we are awesome teachers, ladies!

Last night we had a Bbq to celebrate the end of the year and preschool graduation! We were in a rush to have it before Amie had her baby Tues...but surprise, Amie had her baby 2 days early! We missed you Amie!

The highlight of the evening was by far the DARLING video of preschool memories that T.J. made for us! Thank you so much! That is something we will Cherish for years to come!

Arrr Matey!

We went to a fun birthday party celebrating all our little kiddos that are turning 3 this summer! Fun time with fun Moms and kids! (Although I have to say, it was not the same without Jill!)

So after I got home, I realized I did not get any pictures of Jacob! Ooops. He was not participating much. He was always happy doing his own thing!

A Trip to the Fire Station!

Jacob and Zachary were in heaven when Ed took them on a tour of his fire station! What a great day! Thanks so much Ed! The boys had a great time!

So Many Pictures of the Drescher's at Disneyland, you will feel like you were there!

If I wasn't laughing so hard at these pictures, I might be mad at Zachary for all his silly faces during picture taking. I mean it should not be THIS hard to get a decent picture of all of my kids at the same time.

So, this vacation was totally spur of the moment and totally unplanned. A few days before we left I told Zane there was really no good days to go to Disneyland, and I have been DYING to go before the CrAzY summer season hits. Problem being there was no period of a few days that one of us didn't have some prior commitment. So we did the irresponsible thing, and ditched out of our lives for a few days. Sure, we missed a few things like a court of honor, a preschool graduation, a honor choir concert and a few days of work and school...but it was worth it. It was good for Zane and I to have some time together. Our lives have been so chaotic for the past few years, it feels like we hardly see each other. It was nice to be together, just the 5 of us!

We totally surprised our kids with this! Sunday morning the kids woke up and we told them to go get in the car we were headed to Disneyland! So fun! I all ready had the bags packed, so we literally just jumped in the car after we told them! FUN MEMORIES!

The traffic at Disneyland was weird! Monday was swamped, Tues and Weds were dead. Go figure?

This trip Zachary was scared of a lot of the rides. He loved Pirates last year, this year it made him nervous. "Too scary." He of coarse loved Peter Pan, Dumbo, Casey Jr, Midway Mania, Buzz Lightyear. I made a rule that he needed to try every ride I thought he might like once, and if he still did not like it, we would negotiate.

Jake loved every ride he went on, he just did not care for the waiting in line part. He actually did really good. Jacob was just a titch too short for a few rides. Next trip he should be tall enough. I think he would like Soarin' over California and Splash Mountain! Maybe we will get him some lifts for his shoes if hes not 40 inches yet next trip!

Olivia loved all rides, especially the roller coasters. She has no fear. Zane and Olivia went on the California Screamer several times. Zane took the boys back to the hotel room to nap every day, so it gave Olivia and me the chance to enjoy some rides without the boys!

We renewed our annual passes so we are planning a few more Disneyland trips over the next year. Fall break at Disneyland, anyone?
