Opa! times dos!

I went on two totally awesome GNO's this past week! The first was with some girls in my ward! We went to see Mama Mia, and it was awesome! This is Tiff, Brea, and I being dancing queens! It was very Greek! OPA!

Amazing Jake, Zach & Cole!

All five of us have birthdays in a one month span...plus my sister, brothers fiancee, nephew, good friend, and her daughter. We are on birthday overload! Thankfully the kids have been good sports about combining them and doing family parties! Last night we went to Amazing Jake's to celebrate Cole, Zach and Jake's birthdays. We had such a great time, we couldn't get the kids to stop playing to open presents and eat cake. Zach was still opening presents this morning! What a fun place! We are getting one in north Phoenix in Spring 2009! I am excited about that!

Cole is going to be starting a rock band! Have fun buddy!Zachary and I had a chat this morning about not getting one crumb of play dough on the carpet. Lucky for me it is a gazillion pack, so it will last until his 20th birthday! Thanks a lot Nana and Poppy! I am thinking of paybacks...like maybe I will get him a pack of Sharpie Markers to keep at Nana and Poppy's house, for artwork and such!My brother Jamie, his wife Jamie, babies T.J. and Emmy and my sis Shelly.Maddie and Sidnie having some "eats" as Zachary would say!
Poppy, Jordan and Dana! Have a safe trip back Dana! My cousin Aubrey asked me to leave a book review about Twilight when I was done! Okay, so I loved it! I totally heart Edward! As soon as I finished Twilight I ran out and got the next book New Moon, and I am halfway done with it! I can't wait until the movie comes out...I marked it on my calendar! So Aubrey...get the book. It is easy and fast reading...I think it was written at a high school level...you will be surprised how fast you will fly through it! You have until 12-12 to finish, that is when the movie comes out! Happy Birthday Shelly and Carolyn!

For Shelly and Carolyn's Birthday we went to Organ Stop pizza! This is Mr. Organstop himself, playing Happy Birthday to them! It is such a fun place!

There were some sweet, sweet moves by these three! They really cut a rug! This was the bubble finale after "Under the Sea!"

Zachary LOVED the dancing Alley cats. He had so much fun! Added plus...it is really loud there, so Zach did not chase away the table next to us (again)!

Back To School!

Olivia went back to school this morning! I can't believe she is in the third grade! Wow! We hope you have a great year Olivia! We love you!

After we dropped Olivia off at school...we met some fun Mom's for breakfast! It was kind-of funny...the table next to us moved to a different spot when they saw all of the kids!

Tiff, Zachary (being a little turkey) and me! In my mind the word was not turkey...but I will keep it to myself! Good thing the table next to us moved before Zachary "turned on the charm."

I got a special delivery! Tiffany dropped me off her book! I decided I was going to take up reading with my extra time! I really don't have much extra time, so hope you don't need it back too soon!

One Of My Favorite Jacobs!

Today I went to the Basaraba's Ward for baby Jacob's blessing! Uncle Brent did a fantastic job! We also loved hearing your testimony Brittney! There was a yummy breakfast at Brittney and Bill's darling house after the meeting. We had a great time, thanks for inviting us!

One thing that can be said about our family is, we know how to celebrate!

I think I shocked everyone that I made it on time "relatively speaking." Anytime before the opening prayer is on time in my book!

To my family...thank you so much for the necklace I have been coveting! As I was driving to church there was sparkles all over the ceiling of my car from the reflection of the bling. It made me smile really BIG! I love you guys!

Last Week We:

Introduced Jakey to one of our favorite places...the beach. Good thing he loves it too, a must if you are a Drescher!

Played a ton in the sand! And we brought a ton of sand home with us as a souvenir!

Gossiped, um I mean chatted with Sherrie. Posed for many pictures with good friends!

Ate a little sand...it's fiber isn't it?

Had a barbecue in Mission Park!

The Mom's rode scooters around Mission Park. There was a little scooter mishap that left a mark or two. Good thing I know how to tuck and roll!

Went to Sea World

Rode the train (train red as Zachary called it!)Went to Seaport Village and rode the merry-go-round.


I got lazy about taking pictures at the end of the trip. We met Mike and Jan in Old Town and had some great Mexican Food. We talked about doing a family reunion next year, I hope someone will put it together (hint hint Mom and Jan!) We also ate a few :) times at Konos, our favorite breakfast place.

No sightings of our favorite two Pacific Beach legends Slomo and the Lion King (aka the flash, aka the eagle). The owner of Swings and Things tells us the lion king has moved to Hawaii. I guess we will have to plan a trip there next!

Can't wait to go back next year, we had a great time! By the way we tried a new hotel out, The Ocean Park Inn. We liked it as much as The Blue Sea Lodge, and it was closer to a lot of our favorite places!
