Jacob's First Day of School

Excited about the first day!

A little nervous when when he got there...
With mixed emotions I have started my baby in school. Jake got into a special speech therapy preschool in our school district. I can't believe my baby actually goes to a real school. He has been doing Joy school with Me and some of my friends. This is different. I go and drop him off with strangers. He seems so little for this.

We feel very blessed at the opportunity for Jake to attend this preschool, and pray it helps with Jake's speech difficulties. He has gone 6 times. He had 5 great days and one day where he had trouble transitioning (whatever that means!) Can't win them all, 5 out of 6 aint bad!

Fancy Feet

For joy school we talked about f-f-feet. We all had fancy feet that day.

We played put your left foot in, put your left foot out!

We read the foot book!

We ate lots of yummy fruits for snack!

And we took home some sparkly feet cookies!

(Thanks to my cousin Britney for donating the feet cookies to us! I picked up Jill's day for preschool at the last minute....my cousin just so happened to have these "laying around"! I understand the little blue feet are the correct ones Britney! Congratulations!)

Oh...and thank you Ms. Jacy for a special treat. It made my day! Thank heavens for good friends!

For preschool we made some cute little handprint tiles for Christmas for the parents. It was a fun little project. The kids were so proud of their work!
