Halloween 2009

I worked Halloween but Zane got one decent picture of Olivia and Maddie. We have a Hippie and The Queen of Hearts. Wish I coulda been there. Unfortunately all of the holidays for the rest of the year are on my regular work days. It truly stinks, but I am trying to make the best of it. Thanks for taking the kids trick-or-treating Sherrie. I understand Zach walked into someones house without ringing first. Actually, glad I wasn't there for that one!

Preschool Halloween Party!

Zach's super awesome preschool had a Halloween party last week! The kiddos were so excited about all of the fun things that we did there. I can't believe how much work Beckie and Lisa put into this thing! It was so appreciated by the kids and the parents! It made me miss my days in the Palm Valley R.S. presidency when I was able to work you you two! I have really been missing my old ward lately.
I feel so lucky to have Zach in Ms. Beckie's preschool! Firstly, she does super awesome stuff ALL OF THE TIME! Secondly, Zach is so excited ALL OF THE TIME about the SUPER AWESOME STUFF! Thirdly, either Zach is half decent there, or Beckie lies to me and tells me he is good. Either way I don't care (AND if it is the second, thank you. ;) It is much appreciated after Zach has been brought to me out of primary several times lately for being disruptive. I like to think he can behave on occasion. )
Anyways...thanks again Ms. Beckie and Ms. Lisa, you are the best.

All Ready for Kindergarten!

Zach had his well child visit and got 5 shots! In his words "I don't like the pokey things they hurt!" Now we are all ready for for kindergarten. Zach can't wait to go to Olivia's school...and Mom is a little excited about this too! 10 months and counting...

My 'Lil Punkins in the Punkin Patch!

We had a fun field trip with Zach's Joy school friends! We went to Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert. We went on a hay ride, saw some cool animals, had a picnic, picked a pumpkin out of the patch, decorated it, played in a bouncy castle, and went through a hay bale maze! Good times with good friends! To make it extra special it was COLD that day. It actually felt like autumn in the pumpkin patch!

Thank You Fry's!

A few weeks ago Fry's grocery store sponsored a free weekend at Arizona Science Center. Zane and I escaped our crazy lives for just a few hours. It was soooo busy...but we still managed to have a good time! Can you believe Olivia riding the bike on the tightrope two stories above ground? She is pretty brave, although once she looked down she decided to cut the thrill short and not ride across the whole way! Glad she changed her mind close to the beginning where she could get back fast!

Phoenix Girl's Choir Fall Concert

Olivia had a great performance with the Phoenix Girl's Choir a few weeks ago. The concert was at the Mesa Art's Center which was a absolutely beautiful place. Olivia's choir sang several great songs...one of which was about a firefly. A few girls got to hold a flashlight and flash then on and off at various times during the song. I have to say, Olivia's flash light clicking skills where superb, and by far exceeded the clicking skills of the other girls in the choir. ;) She really truly has a knack for pushing buttons! (Usually it is my buttons she is pushing! LOL) Good Job Sis, you have a beautiful voice! Thanks for going with us, Nana and Poppy!

Fair Fun!

On the Ferris wheel!

Nice Happy face Zach! Remember...we are having fun!
Zach Hang Glidin'

Just as good as the Dumbo ride at Disneyland...minus the magic feather! (And plus the trashy environment!)

Can you see a Jake's blue cotton candy beard!
We had fun at the fair last night. There was plenty of good people watching...a favorite past time of mine. I saw a drag queen in a tutu and feather boa. I was so relieved I didn't wear the same thing, that would have been awkward. We had some yummy fair food...don't tell Jenny I caved! I got to see what Zach and Jake are like on crack...um I mean cotton candy. They were CrAzY all sugared up! Crazier than usual if you can imagine!
And I am happy to say...we got our moneys worth for the unlimited ride wristbands! We were there until the wee hours of the night (10:00 p.m.) to make sure of it !

Until next year...that is unless I can talk Zane into Disneyland instead. I think Disneyland might have been cheaper, LOL!
P.S. Thanks for going with us Sherrie and Maddie! Always more fun with you guys!
