Father's Day!

For Father's Day we met my family at Mary Coyle's Ice Cream in Phoenix. This place is very sentimental to Zane and I...it was where we got engaged 12 years ago! Although, I am sure we enjoyed it more 12 years ago. Zach and Jake were CRAZY that night, we had just gotten home from a road trip and they had been couped up in the car all day long! They were not about to sit down...even for ice cream! Well, hope we didn't spoil anyones Father's Day!

We surprised Zane and got him the i pod touch he has been eyeing! He was totally shocked! I love surprising people! Zane's i pod died a few weeks ago, and Zane has been using Olivia's. I am sure he is glad he will not have to listen to Jonas Bros anymore while he is jogging!

The Reason I Keep Mace Poolside!

So does anyone know if this is a dangerous breed of dog? He frantically tries scaling the wall everytime we go out back. I had some friends over last week and one of them told me his paws are all bloody. I am too scared to go too close. I stood on a chair to see if it looks like he is on a chain, and he practically ripped my face off. (okay this may be an exageration, but he certainly scared the crud out of me.) He wants to use Jake as a chew toy, I just know it!

I have tried going over to talk t0 the owners but no one ever answers. Apparently only a big, unfriendly, scary dog lives there. Why would someone rent a house for a dog? Things that make you go HMMMM!

A Great Performance!

Olivia had another great concert with the Phoenix Girl's Choir. We dropped Olivia off a few hours before her performance and Zane and I got to go out to dinner without any kids! This is a rare treat for us! Zane picked the restaurant, Sing Hi (no pun intended). We actually went on a date there before we got married so it was a little nostalgic. I remembered it being a nice restaurant, but now it is a hole in the wall. The food was okay, not worth breaking my diet for. The egg roll was HUMONGO (but NOT Delicious)...Zane kept calling it a burrito. We decided I get to pick next time :) (Just had to document it, because by the time Zane and I get to go out without kids again, I am sure Zane will forget).

The choir performed beautifully. In Olivia's first song she was sitting Indian Style on the stage, and then she had trouble getting up and limped off stage. I was worried about her, and thought maybe she had injured herself before the show. Then by her next song she was fine. Turns out her leg had fallen asleep sitting Indian style for so long, that she had no sensation in her leg. But the show MUST go on!

There were a bunch of songs sung from Wicked the musical...it got me all geared up for the big show! Can't wait! (AND...I got a ticket for Olivia, I am going to surprise her with it!) Has anyone seen Wicked? It is appropriate for kids, right?

Not a Baby Anymore!

I can't believe my baby is almost two years old. You are growing up so fast Jacob! As I look at these pictures I realize you are no longer a baby anymore! What a joy you are to have in our lives little guy! We love you, Jakey-boo!
