A Great Performance!

Olivia had another great concert with the Phoenix Girl's Choir. We dropped Olivia off a few hours before her performance and Zane and I got to go out to dinner without any kids! This is a rare treat for us! Zane picked the restaurant, Sing Hi (no pun intended). We actually went on a date there before we got married so it was a little nostalgic. I remembered it being a nice restaurant, but now it is a hole in the wall. The food was okay, not worth breaking my diet for. The egg roll was HUMONGO (but NOT Delicious)...Zane kept calling it a burrito. We decided I get to pick next time :) (Just had to document it, because by the time Zane and I get to go out without kids again, I am sure Zane will forget).
The choir performed beautifully. In Olivia's first song she was sitting Indian Style on the stage, and then she had trouble getting up and limped off stage. I was worried about her, and thought maybe she had injured herself before the show. Then by her next song she was fine. Turns out her leg had fallen asleep sitting Indian style for so long, that she had no sensation in her leg. But the show MUST go on!
There were a bunch of songs sung from Wicked the musical...it got me all geared up for the big show! Can't wait! (AND...I got a ticket for Olivia, I am going to surprise her with it!) Has anyone seen Wicked? It is appropriate for kids, right?

Not a Baby Anymore!

I can't believe my baby is almost two years old. You are growing up so fast Jacob! As I look at these pictures I realize you are no longer a baby anymore! What a joy you are to have in our lives little guy! We love you, Jakey-boo!

Thanks for a fun morning ladies! Oh, and thanks for the photo session Brandy! Love the pics!

Preschool Graduation

Zachary "graduated" from Mom and Me Preschool Thursday. We had a little celebration at my house with 6 of the seven kids and their Moms. Preschool was a Joy school that I did with 6 other really awesome Moms. Zachary has learned so much this year! I really appreciate the ladies that taught him so much. You guys are the best. I am really sad that our group will be splitting apart next year. I will miss seeing those little kiddos!

A friend of mine, T.J. made us the most beautiful video filled with awesome pictures of the kids throughout the year. I absolutely treasure it! I can't believe how much they have all grown this year!

As for next year...Zachary is going to Beckie Wirth's preschool. We may attempt a Joy school again if I can coordinate the times to work! The thought of Zach being busy 4 days a week sent a shiver of excitement down my spine!

The Circus...Britney Style!

We had a great time at the Britney concert! Since my parents babysat for me, I got to relive my childhood by telling my parents what time I would be home, and promise to act like a nice girl.

The before picture. When my Dad said "before what",
I believe Sherrie told him "before you have to bail us out of jail."
I think my Dad was worried...

At the concert. No arrests yet....
Our view from our seats! If I had got arrested that night it would be for sawing off this girls arms. She had them straight up in the air the whole concert, usually Pepsi and all! You would think she would need to give it a rest at some point, but no. She can hold her arms up for hours on end! I think she was one of the circus freaks there! At least I had a great seat for the long armed freak side show!

Here is what I would have seen if I had better seats:

I can't believe I almost wore this same outfit!

Is she coming over to arrest us?

The people watching was superb! Sherrie and I kept laughing at how many people tripped in their stilettos. The way people were dressed was a real sight!
Thanks for going with me Sherrie! I had a great time! And we made it home with our police records unscathed!
(Or we found someone besides my Dad to bail us out ;)

This Is My Life!

Okay little boys. Is it too much to ask for you two to smile cute for ten seconds at the same time? We will talk about this again when you two are older.

Right now Mommy needs a Dr. Pepper to put the fire out!

Can you believe how great my grandparents looks in EVERY picture! Wonder if they had any idea what was going on behind them?!

Thanks for the pics JG. I am sure I will cherish them just as soon as the memory of the moment has faded! Luv Ya!

Easter 2009

I have been a bit of a dud with the camera lately. It is for two reasons. First, my sister makes fun of me for taking pictures at every family event...so I am on strike from taking pictures at family stuff that is not a direct celebration of the Drescher's. I caved for Easter and whipped out my camera for a few minutes when she wasn't looking. (sorry Jacob, you were no where to be found in that brief moment!) Secondly, it is so difficult to retrieve my pics off my camera lately. If I complain enough maybe it will justify a new computer purchase. Maybe. No, Denise...that is not cost reducing measures...resist temptation.
After seeing my lack of Easter pictures, I have remorse for not taking more. So, Alex, JG...any chance you have a picture of my family from Easter? A fabulous one? If YOU took one, then Shelly cannot make fun of ME.

We had a fun opportunity to meet up with my Grandma and Grandpa (Gay and Boppa), Mom and Dad, Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Brent, and Dana for dinner a few weeks ago. We had a great time! I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. I was busy trying to keep my kids from turning over the tables. This evening would probably be why my Aunt Charee told me "I hear you really have your hands full with your boys." Oh great, the family is talking about my sons and the ants in their pants! Can't you just see how tortured they are in the top picture when we made them hold still for one minute for a picture? It is true...they are firecrackers! They get that from Zaner, I am sure! I was an angel at their age!
